Green Building "Green building" is no longer just a catchy buzz phrase pertaining to a handful of sustainable design projects. Nowhere is this more evident than in the Chicagoland area, where local officials, developers, contractors and unions are working together to promote environmentally friendly buildings as the standard, not the exception.
